Our Story ♡
For the girls who want both.
The gym and the cake. The matcha and the sweet treat. The healthy lifestyle and the freedom to enjoy it.
Because we believe you should never have to choose between looking after yourself and enjoying the things you love.
But Health Bae is so much more than just a café or a sweet treat brand. It’s a little piece of my heart, and the story behind it started long before the first cookie was ever baked.
A little kitchen hobby turned into a big dream ♡
A little more personal…
This brand has a huge place in my heart.
In 2012, I struggled with an eating disorder that became so serious I was nearly hospitalised.
For a long time, my relationship with food was anything but simple. Something that should have brought happiness and enjoyment became surrounded by fear, restriction and guilt.
It’s a chapter of my life that has shaped so much of who I am today, and one of the biggest reasons Health Bae means so much to me. Because I know what it’s like when food stops being something you enjoy.
And I never want Health Bae to be a brand that makes anyone feel like they have to earn their treats, feel guilty for eating something delicious, or strive for a version of perfection that doesn’t exist.
You can care about your health and still love cake. You can be passionate about fitness and still enjoy dessert. You can have goals without letting them take away the joy of living.
That’s what “For the girls who want both” really means to me ♡
How it all began…
From a little hobby to so much more…
2021
A kitchen hobby
During the Covid lockdowns, Health Bae began as a little hobby in my kitchen: baking and experimenting with treats that combined my love of food with an active lifestyle.
2021–2022
Local markets
I spent my weekends selling at local markets, meeting customers, packing up boxes and slowly watching my little hobby turn into a real business.
2023
Online orders
I moved into a small, dark commercial kitchen and began selling online. Long days and late nights, but every order meant someone believed in what I was building.
End of 2025
Our first café
One of my biggest dreams came true: the first Health Bae Café. Good coffee, freshly baked treats, fitness, wellness and, most importantly, balance ♡

Health Bae isn’t about dieting, restriction or being the healthiest girl in the room. It’s about finding a way of living that makes you feel happy, confident and fulfilled.
It’s for the girl who loves her morning Pilates class but also loves a cookie with her coffee. The girl who wants to feel strong, look after herself, build a life she loves and enjoy every little moment along the way.
And it’s for anyone who’s ever felt like they had to choose between being healthy and being happy. Because you don’t.
Looking back at the girl I was in 2012, I don’t think she could ever have imagined that one day she’d build a business centred around the very thing she once struggled with so deeply. And that’s why Health Bae will always hold such a special place in my heart.
From a little kitchen hobby to local markets, online orders and now our very own café, this journey has been about so much more than baking. It’s been about growth, finding balance and creating something with meaning.
So here’s to the girls who want both.
The strong and the soft. The ambition and the enjoyment. The protein shakes and the chocolate cake.
Because life is far too short not to enjoy both.
